At ShoWest 2009 Sony Pictures Entertainment president, Rory Bruer, talked about their plans for movies in 2011. On the list were Spider-man 4, Men in Black 3 and Ghostbusters 3 – which are all actively being developed.
An early summer 2011 release could put filming approximately a year from now. This announcement shows us that Sony are taking GB3 very seriously.

Well I’m Very Happy about this but I’m confused. It says on the GB3 Imdb that Ghostbusters 3 will be here in 2012 and not 2011 now Ernie Hudson said today onn Oct.20th that Ivan said that Production will start from Sony after they hear from Sony and erniesaid that GB3 will be here in May of 2011. Hey that’s even better then 2012 so 2011 that’s fine because my Girlfriend will be engaged and we will have our first child together so if we get Married in 2010 or in 2011 before or after we see Ghostbusters 3 in Theaters in 2011 hey that’s fine with me but I want to know is this the real year for GB3 because first it said 2010 then 2012 now from Ernie 2011. I belive Ernie and Ivan Reitman because the script is completed and approved by all parties and Ivan said that it’s Goona Happen and it is so 2011 is fine with me. Then the GB3 Imdb will change the date from 2012 to 2011 Awesome because everyone is in GB3!
That’s because you are a very confused person. IMDB isn’t a source for relevent (real) information. The information you find on there is submitted by people who don’t know if it’s true or not…like yourself. You think that you know things about GB 3 but you don’t.
Why do you keep repeating the same stuff all the time?
